The Des Moines Oak Leafs are one of 14 members of the Midwest High School Hockey League. There are two divisions in the Midwest High School Hockey League. East: Ames Little Cyclones, Cedar Rapids Mustangs, Des Moines Capitals, Dubuque Devils, Mason City Mohawks, Quad City Blues and Waterloo Warriors. West: Des Moines Oak Leafs, Kansas City Jr. Outlaws, Kansas City Stars, Lincoln Jr. Stars, Omaha Energy, Sioux City Metros and Tri-City Jr. Storm. The Des Moines Oak Leafs first season was 1998-99, varsity finished 2-23-1 and junior varsity finished 5-15-6, while last season the Oak Leafs Varsity (26-4-3) and Junior Varsity (25-7-1) Varsity won the regular season and Varsity won State. Des Moines Oak Leafs Varsity are the 2007-2008 Midwest High School Hockey League Regular Season and Play-Off Champions. Des Moines Oak Leafs Junior Varsity are the 2007-2008 Midwest High School Hockey League Regular Season Champions and finished 4th in the 2007-2008 Play-Offs. Des Moines Oak Leafs' photo page.
