Tanner has been playing hockey since first grade but didn’t make the transition from roller to ice hockey until fifth grade. He then played on the Des Moines Junior Buccaneers travel team from Pee Wees all the way through Bantams until he became eligible for high school hockey. Tanner has been an Oak Leaf for four years as a defenseman and loved the experience. His other interests outside of hockey include hanging out with friends and playing golf. He has played for the Valley Golf team for four years but hockey has always been his number one sport. Tanner says Being an Oak Leaf has truly been a great experience.
