Started playing hockey at age 4, and entered the Jr Bucs travel program at age 8 where he continued until being drafted by the Oak Leafs as a freshman.  Currently a senior at Dallas Center-Grimes where he has played four years of football, participated in baseball and golf, and is a member of the National Honor Society.
