Oak Leafs Hockey

Dear Oak Leafs Hockey Fans,

I am extremely excited to welcome you to the 2009- 2010 Midwest High School Hockey season. As the head coach of the Oak Leafs, I look forward to continuing our tradition of excellence in Des Moines high school hockey.

The Oak Leaf organization is dedicated to the development of its players both on and off the ice. Hard work, team play, sportsmanship, perseverance, and responsibility are vital to the success of any team. Our accomplishments over the past twelve years are a direct reflection of our dedication to these values.

There is much to look forward to this season. A talented group of crafty forwards, experienced defensemen, and dependable goaltending will lead the way for us. An exciting mix of new Oak Leafs are more than eager to show what they can do as well. A new addition to the coaching staff will provide valuable experience and leadership behind the bench.

Our players and coaches are ready to get started. Our families and friends are ready to cheer. A memorable year is in the making for all of us. I look forward to seeing you at the rink!
