Teams will gather in Ames, March 4-7, for the MHSHL Championship Weekend. For this year only, due to the pandemic’s impact on the regular-season schedule, all 12 Varsity teams and six Jr. Varsity teams will qualify for the tournament. Seedings will be determined by RPI rankings. Varsity teams seeded 5 through 12 will play a single-elimination, qualifying round with winners advancing to the quarterfinals against the top-4 teams. Jr. Varsity teams seeded 3 through 6 will also play a single-elimination, qualifying round with winners advancing to the semifinals against the top-two teams.
