Congratulations to Des Moines Oak Leafs senior Jacob Karasinski  and Des Moines Capitals  senior Daniel Dressen on receiving a $1000 Scholarship Award in honor of  Craig Long. While his son, Scott is currently the coach of the Des Moines Oak Leafs, Craig Long was a long time and avid supporter of hockey in Des Moines. After his passing, the Des Moines Youth Hockey Association established this scholarship to be awarded each year to a graduating senior as a way to honor and remember Craig and his contributions to hockey in Des Moines.
